The combination of seven beautifying ingredients whitens, evenly brightens skin tone, improves acne-prone skin and facial blemishes, and refines skin. Also suitable for pregnancy, it is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to soothe the fetus, and reduce irritability of the smooth muscle of the uterus, and to prevent early labor.

1. Bletilla Rhizome Root has a bitter and sweet scent, and is used topically to treat ulcers, sores, swellings, and chapped skin. It can reduce the swelling of sores, and speed up healing sores. It is also used to reduce bleeding and swelling, and promotes tissue regeneration.
2. Atractylodes Root ( Atractylodes rhizome ) is aromatic, slightly bitter, non-toxic and sweet. Traditionally used to help improve appetite and support digestive health. It Promotes body fluid metabolism and reduces fluid retention associated with bloating and swelling.
3. Japanese Ampelopsis Root is bitter, sweet, with a pungent aroma. It is traditionally used to treat burns and scars, taken for its analgesic properties, with numerous benefits including detoxification, pain relief, tissue regeneration, and reduces swelling.
4. White Peony Root has antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and antibiotic properties. It is used to treat high blood pressure by dilating and lowering resistance in peripheral blood vessels. Used also for its antidepressant effects for one of the active components, paeoniflorin, it is believed to alleviate behavioral and cognitive impairments.
5. Fu Ling ( Poria Cocos ) is a type of fungi used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat numerous health conditions, such as Alzheimer’s disease, cancer and diabetes. It also has benefits in helping with improving the immune system, insomnia, depression, osteoporosis, digestion, and skin aging. Fu Ling is taken for its diuretic properties, reducing plasma glucose, inhibits bacteria, and has a relaxing effect on smooth muscles.
6. Blackend Swallowwort Root has a bitter and salty aroma. It comes from the dried root and rhizome of the plant species Cynanchum atratum. Used traditionally to relieve dysuria, it counteracts toxicity, cures sores and eases inflammatory conditions. It also is used to relieve hot flashes, night sweating or fever after giving birth for women.
7. Pearl Powder is made by boiling and sterilizing fresh or saltwater pearls, then milling them into a soft fine powder that’s similar in texture to flour. It has both internal and external benefits for the skin and body. Containing amino acids, the building blocks of protein, it stimulates skin cells to produce collagen, which makes wrinkles less prominent. Also packed with minerals containing calcium, magnesium, and potassium, they are essential for skin regeneration and moisture retention. Pearl powder reduces activation of tyrosinase, an enzyme that causes the production of melanin. Skin appears more luminous, much like the sheen of a pearl.
