Our Story

Dai Fan Soaps are made using a process called “Cold Saponification”. This process does not use heat. Contrary to commercial soap making, where soap is cooked and boiled for days, our cold process soaps are saponified at room temperature, which also generates naturally occurring glycerin.

Our soaps begin with all natural and high quality ingredients such as plant herbs, plant oils and butters that are mixed and poured into a mold, then cured for a minimum of thirty days to allow saponification and drying to complete. This ancestral form of soap making takes time, patience, and care.

By not utilising heat, we ensure ingredients preserve their beneficial and active properties. Our soaps produce a luxurious creamy lather that deeply moisturises, helping to minimize dry itchy skin. After cleansing, your skin will retain a hydrolipidic film, which gives extra nourishment and protection.

Combining all natural ingredients and a traditional soap making technique,  Dai Fan Soaps pamper you with an unparalleled level of hand made luxury.

Handcrafted

In order to ensure the freshness of our products, only small batches are made.  Materials are meticulously selected to ensure the highest quality.  Each batch is handcrafted, with no unnecessary refinishing, giving you soap in its most raw and original form.  Therefore, the final product you receive may vary slightly in colour and shape.

Eco-friendly

Dai Fan Soaps are made using environmentally friendly techniques, and with green, sustainable materials.  We consider our impact on the Earth, in every product we make.
